Biomedical Research Institute

The Biomedical Research Center (Institute) is a scientific research unit within the School of Medicine at Georgian American University.

The goal and main areas of activity of the Center are to carry out scientific research in the fields of medicine and healthcare in order to generate basic and clinical evidence, as well as to investigate current and pertinent issues in modern medical and healthcare practice.

Researchers involved in the Center’s projects include both experienced scientists and young researchers. Medical School students are also engaged in the Center’s activities under the supervision of its scientific staff.

Along with various initiatives, the Center periodically organizes local and international conferences.
